San Diego Group Tours – Charter Bus & Walking Tours
Make Your Tour Guests Say ‘Wow’
I know your reputation depends on the quality of the experience you arrange for your group or client. To make sure your guests are not only completely satisfied but come back to you with rave reviews, I not only work as the proud owner of a bus tour company but I also serve as your group’s guide. I also work as a tour guide for foreign groups who who understand broken English but am happy to arrange for a foreign speaking tour guide as well.
I have built a great reputation for making people say ‘Wow’.
My public sightseeing tour became ranked as the best bus tour in San Diego on TripAdvisor within months of launching the business in June 2010.
I was subsequently asked by the San Diego Professional Tour Guide Association to take their members on my sightseeing tour, which combines both guided bus tour and walking tours at various stops, so they could learn more about the fascinating history of San Diego, see the best scenic viewpoints that most people miss, and meet the merchants in La Jolla. The adjacent picture shows me taking the tour guide association members on a walking tour through the one-of-a-kind Mount Soledad Veterans Memorial.
Reviews from San Diego Group Tour Clients
“It is us who can’t say “THANK YOU” too many times and in too many different languages. Everyone came back just expressing what a wonderful time they had and how great you were and that the tour was so exciting!!!! … I, for one Tim, am so appreciative for all you did to help us be a success and in no small part your La Jolla tour was a huge contributor to the “WOW” factor of what makes San Diego so special.” – DeeAnn Snyder, Director of Convention Services for the San Diego Convention Center following a tour I provided to an international association of convention center executives and their spouses.
“As a meeting planner, I have booked and been on tours all over the country. Tim was one of the best tour guides that I have worked with anywhere. He was a pleasure to work with during the planning stages. Once we were onsite at our hotel, he showed up early for the tour and had everything ready to go for my group when they arrived. We stayed on schedule throughout the entire day, but never felt rushed or like we were anywhere for too long. Tim provided interesting and entertaining information and facts the entire trip. One thing I really appreciated, was the map he provided my group that included our meeting spot and the time to meet to catch the bus home. For those individuals who wanted to explore on their own, the map made it very easy to find their way around and get back on time. We never had to search for any lost attendees. We’ve gotten great feedback from our group and I was very pleased with the entire experience. I would definitely recommend Tim and use him again next time we are in San Diego. ” – Teri Ditsch, Group Services Manager for Blue Hawk following a tour provided to owners of HVAC companies across the United States.

San Diego Group Tour Itineraries
I enjoy providing bus tours that include walking tours at various scenic stops. As part of a San Diego City Tour, I always like to include La Jolla, and if time permitting, Torrey Pines, which offer the best scenery in San Diego as well as the opportunity to see up close the seals, sea lions, pelicans, and cormorants that play along the beaches in La Jolla. I am also very happy to provide tours that focus on San Diego’s coastline, similar to what I provide on my public Coastal San Diego Tour to La Jolla and Torrey Pines. This provides a nice variety for groups who’ve been to San Diego before and have already seen many of the attractions in and around downtown San Diego, such as Balboa Park, Coronado, and Old Town. For whatever you have in mind, I will put together an itinerary for you to review and I’m happy to make adjustments even on the day of the tour to make sure guests have a wonderful experience in San Diego.
I can also arrange for meals and tours of specific attractions like the Birch Aquarium at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography and the Salk Institute as part of the sightseeing tour.
Bus Charter
I partner with bus companies in San Diego to provide the professional driver and a variety of charter buses for my tours. This give me the flexibility to provide a bus that fits your group’s size and needs. Also, because of my regular use of charter buses for my public tours, I am able to obtain charters at lower rates and incorporate that into the simple one-stop pricing I’ll offer as part of your tour package.
Step-on Tour Guide
If you have already arranged your bus, I can serve as your step-on guide. If I’m not available or if you have special requirements for your guide, such as the need to speak a foreign language or have expertise in birding or other focused topic, I can arrange that for you as well.

“Just a quick note to thank you, on behalf of all the ISWNE folks on the tour last Friday, for providing a great introduction to San Diego! The proof of that was that people went back to places you had taken us…Everyone on the tour went out of their way to tell me how much they enjoyed it, and how much they appreciated your approach to it and the amount of information you had available, both in general and in response to questions. Thanks again for a very well done job!” – Dave Gordon on behalf of the Board of Directors for the International Society of Weekly Newspaper Editors.
