From the San Diego Bay, which early Spanish Conquistadors called the finest of the South Seas, to the natural springs in the desert where mastadons, sabre-tooth tigers, and zebras used to roam, we will cover it all.

Great for Athletes of Different Abilities Who Want to Travel Together

Meet conditioned athletes from around the world who share a common interest pushing themselves to be the best while enjoying the natural beauty of the surrounding landscape. This adventure in San Diego is open to all of these who feel comfortable handling:

• 11-mile downhill trail hike from a mountain alpine forest to desert floor hot springs.
• 30-mile bike rides with elevation gains of as much as 4,000 feet. (Support personnel available to transport those who are having an off-day.)
• Multiple distance options (30 to 58-mile) bike ride up America’s version of Mont Ventoux.
• Options to go ocean swimming, diving, or kayaking and snorkeling in the La Jolla Ecological Reserve, home to the most concentrated marine life ever documented in the world.
• Options to go for a moderately challenging coastal bike ride or paragliding off the cliffs where Charles Lindbergh set the distance record for motor-less flight.

Note: We also provide a travel option for spouses and partners who wish to come along on the tour but would prefer to spend their day viewing the landscape by vehicle and enjoying local amenities.

Our San Diego adventure tours include a variety of extracurricular activities to broaden the vacation experience. The side excursions include a thrilling R.I.B boat ride across San Diego Harbor, soaking in mineral hot springs, horseback riding, and stargazing from one of the best spots in the country for astronomers.
