What to Expect
- The surrounding Park encourages visitors to stroll around or enjoy a picnic while looking at the beautiful Victorian Architecture.
- Step into the Park Ranger’s office at the end of the Parking Lot and pick-up the Park Brochure and a Self-Guided Tour pamphlet. (The pamphlet is more descriptive than the Park Brochure so use that for all of your information. However, the brochure includes pictures to help you identify each home.) You will be able to enter some of the homes and the Synagogue.
- Guided Tours take place at 11AM and 3PM and last about 30 – 45 minutes. A $2 donation is suggested for guided tours.
- The Beth Israel Synagogue in Heritage Park is not an active Synagogue except for Special Events.
Victorian Home Descriptions – See pictures and learn the history of the Victorian Homes and Jewish Synagogue.
Food – You will find many food options two blocks south of the Park. Many are on San Diego Avenue and include full service and fast-food Mexican, Italian, and general American fare. You will not find any national chains.
No Smoking is allowed in or around the Victorian Village.
