Surfside Race Place Highlights: Patrons can bet on Thoroughbred horse racing taking place around California, in other parts of the country, and throughout the world. Over 1,000 video monitors provide coverage with betters able to sit indoors or outdoors, where they can enjoy the San Diego weather. There is also a Nevada-style race book theater with individual video monitors and plenty of workspace.

Parking is Free unless there is a Special Event taking place at the Del Mar Race Track, including the San Diego County Fair. During these events parking is approximately $9.

Free for Active Duty Military Members
Free Admission during night time racing on Sundays.

Traffic – Traffic is heavy driving north on highway I-5 to the Del Mar Fairgrounds during evening rush hour and heading south on I-5 to the race book on summer weekends. (Learn more about getting San Diego traffic updates.)
