Mt. Woodson Golf Course Highlights: Golf Digest calls Mt. Woodson one of California’s most beautiful and unique courses to play. It is set on a rolling terrain amid big oak trees and house-size boulders.

A 12,000 square foot stone mansion on the property, known as Mt. Woodson Castle or the Amy Strong Castle, adds to the ambiance of the property. This home was designed by Amy Strong, a dress designer who was inspired by the architecture of the castles she saw on her trips to Europe. The mansion, now listed on the National Registrar of Historic Places, was built in 1921 and is host to weddings and special events.
