VCA Emergency Animal Hospital – Located a few minutes north of Downtown San Diego along Hotel Circle. (This is also one of the closer 24-Hour locations for those staying in the San Diego mountain and desert locations near highway I-8.)
Veterinary Specialty Hospital of San Diego – Located 20 minutes north of Downtown San Diego in Sorrento Valley, near La Jolla and Torrey Pines.
California Veterinary Specialists – Two locations in northern San Diego County about 45 minutes north of downtown San Diego in Carlsbad and San Marcos.
Animal Urgent Care Specialty Group – Located 40 minutes northeast of Downtown San Diego in Escondido. (This is also one of the closer 24-Hour locations for those visiting Julian and Borrego Springs in the northern San Diego Mountains and Desert.) They also provide a self-help guide for treating pets.
South County Emergency Animal Clinic – Located 15 minutes southeast of downtown San Diego in Chula Vista.
