Love Birds? Come to San Diego for Bird Fest 2011

The San Diego Audubon Society holds an annual Bird Fest the first weekend of March. Last March, I attended one of the events (Birding 100) where we went out and found 127 different species of birds in just one day. You would be hard-pressed to accomplish this feat anywhere else in the country.

San Diego is home to more identified birds than any other county in the nation. If you are interested, you can find more information at Bird Fest web site. You can also take a look at amazing amazing bird photos taken by someone I met during the 2010 bird tour.
