San Diego Teachers Win National Award
by TourGuideTimOnce again, San Diego teachers are being rewarded for their outstanding work. This time, Havena Marks and Amanda Nobles from Adobe Bluffs Elementary School in Rancho Penasquitos were recognized with Time Warner Cable’s National Teacher Awards.
The awards are given to teachers who incorporate the power of cable television’s technology and high-quality programming in their classrooms. Time Warner recognized only fifteen projects nationwide out of its largest applicant pool in 19 years.
Marks and Nobles were recognized for using both cable and the internet to teach students the importance of clean beaches. Learn more about their project at the Time Warner Cable web site.
