San Diego AirportSan Diego International Airport (SDIA) is once again recognized as one of the top airports in the country for customer service. For the year ending 2007, SDIA was ranked 2nd in the United States behind Dallas Fort Worth and 4th in North America. You can see the full list of the best airports in the world as rated by the Airports Council International in Geneva, Switzerland.

The rankings are based on 34 airport service factors the passenger experiences from the time they check-in to the time their plane departs. The official awards ceremony took place last week in Shanghai, China.

Considering air travel has become more of an enduring experience in recent years, we are lucky in San Diego to have limited delays (our good weather), limited pass through passenger traffic (not a hub for plane connections), and limited, if any, lines of planes waiting for take-off.
