Motivational Speakers Get Their Motivation in San Diego

Whether it’s the sunshine, ocean, mountains, desert, canyons, great weather, or wealth of activities, we all have our reasons for loving San Diego. These benefits of living in San Diego motivate us to enjoy life to the fullest extent. I’d say we have more reasons to be motivated than those living anywhere else in the country. It is only fitting that many of the world’s greatest motivational speakers are based in San Diego.

Fortune Magazine notes the four arena-filling monsters of motivation are Tony Robbins, Stephen Covey, Zig Ziglar, and Deepak Chopra. Of these, two (Robbins and Chopra) are based in San Diego County.

The magazine goes on to note eleven other elite motivational speakers. Four speakers from this group also call San Diego home including Brian Tracy, Ken Blanchard, Marcus Buckingham, and James Ray.

James Arthur Ray of Carlsbad, the newest phenom in the motivational field, was featured in a five-page article in the April 14th issue of Fortune Magazine. Ray received national attention for his appearance in the film ‘The Secret’. Now, he is expected to become a bestselling author with his new book, Harmonic Wealth. Just released, the book bolted to #3 at Amazon.com as of this writing.

I’m sure many of you enjoy calling friends and family in other parts of the country to brag about playing at the beach while they are stuck inside, sheltered from the elements. (I do!) It’s good to know, there are San Diegans traveling the world, helping them find other forms of motivation.
